This course is designed to help you become a more skilled and confident writer. The objectives of the course are twofold: (1) to develop your ability to write well-organized paragraphs (e.g., narrative, descriptive, expository), and (2) to introduce you to the subject of writing with sources in an academic context. Sub-topics to be covered include topic sentences and topic support, paragraph unity and coherence, and APA style.
